The Power Room is a unique empowerment, confidence and self-awareness workshop delivered by award-winning confidence coach Lucy Cox as part of the OurWhisky Foundation mentorship programme.
This impactful workshop has been life-changing for our mentees who report significantly increased confidence, motivation and energy, with many even securing new job roles and promotions immediately following completion.
We’re now excited to announce that we have partnered with Lucy Cox and The Academe to extend the Power Room to all women and non-binary individuals working in the global whisky industry.
What does it involve?
Over the course of two 5-hour sessions you'll be encouraged to deeply reflect on core aspects of your working and personal lives, exploring your beliefs, limiting behaviours and aspirations.
Expect to leave the Power Room feeling inspired, uplifted and motivated with renewed clarity and confidence. You'll also have the opportunity to network and form friendships with other women working in whisky around the world.

About The Academe
The Academe is a Cornwall-based coaching and mentoring specialist founded by sisters Lucy Cox and Lerryn Clare. Specialising in confidence and self-esteem, as well as advocates for women’s enterprise and female empowerment, The Academe was recently named Business Training Provider of the Year and Best Employee Development Provider in the UK Business Awards.
The Power Room sessions will run 9.30am-2.30pm GMT on 13th and 15th June. Please note that spaces are limited to just 20 per group.
